BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Jackson State’s Sedgwrick Pitts Jr., Jordin Smith and Rickey Green III along with Alabama State’s Isaiah Riggins for SWAC Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards.
Track
Pitts Jr. finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.63. He also placed in the top 10 in the 100-meter dash, clocking in at 10.56.
Co-Field
Riggins set a personal best in the men's long jump with a leap of 7.59m at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Co-Field
Smith placed second in the high jump event, clearing and setting two new personal bests, 2.00 and 2.06 meters on the day.
Newcomer
Green clocked in at a 14.40 for a sixth place finish in 110m hurdles at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
