SWAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards: Apr. 9

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Bethune-Cookman’s Sha'Nard Walker, Texas Southern’s Ahmad Muhammad and Joshua Brown along with Jackson State’s Kaiden Berry and Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Kewarny Fletcher for SWAC Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards. 
 
Track
Bethune-Cookman's Walker earned a school-record first-place finish in the 200m at 20.43 in the ERAU Classic. 
 
Co-Field
Texas Southern's Muhammad was impressive in the triple jump with a leap of 15.24m. 
 
Co-Field
Jackson State's Berry continued to post impressive finishes as the tallied a mark of 38.90m in the Hammer Throw at the Southern Miss Invitational.
 
Co-Newcomer
Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Fletcher was a key contributor for the Golden Lions posting a time of 1:51.01 in the 800 meters. 
 
Co-Newcomer
Texas Southern's Brown was a top performer this past week with a time of 10.37 in the 100 meter dash.
