BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Alcorn State’s Larissa Joso Luma Elive and Grace Ambrose its Soccer Players of the Week for their outstanding performances this past week.
Offensive Player of the Week
Elive scored two goals in the Braves win over Nicholls and later provided an assist against McNeese, setting up the team's second goal of the match. Her ability to create and finish opportunities proved vital for the Lady Braves.
Newcomer of the Week
Ambrose registered an assist against Nicholls before scoring twice against McNeese, displaying her scoring touch and quick adaptation to the collegiate level.
