BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Prairie View A&M’s Lea Murphy and Thierry Garcon its Cross Country Runners of the Week for their outstanding performances during competition this past week.

Women’s Runner of the Week
Murphy recorded a time of 19:27.2 in the 5k at the DBU Old Glory Gallop this past weekend to lead the Lady Panthers team.

Men’s Runner of the Week
Garcon recorded a time of 25:40.0 in the 8k at the DBU Old Glory Gallop this past weekend as he was a key contributor for PVAMU.
