Championships Central

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships are set to begin at 8:00 am CST on Monday, October 21 at Apalachee Regional Park located in Tallahassee, Florida.

The men’s event will start at 8:00 am followed by the women’s event at 9:00 am.

One the women’s side Florida A&M will look to repeat as league champions. On the men’s side Texas Southern will look to claim the title for the second consecutive season.

Both events are scheduled to be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Tennis.

Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Volleyball.
