BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Bethune-Cookman’s Lathika Krishna, Texas Southern’s Bradley Lavinier and Alabama State’s Wesley Bairros for SWAC Golf Weekly Awards.
Women’s Golfer/Newcomer
Krishna was the Wildcats' top performer at the Houston Lake Invitational, scoring 80-76-78=234 (+18) to lead the team and place 16th overall.
Men’s Golfer
Texas Southern’s Bradley Lavinier sat atop the leaderboard at the AAMU D1 Invitational by The Underground and was the only competitor to finish under par (-2) at the event.
Men’s Newcomer
Alabama State’s Wesley Bairros finished sixth overall at the AAMU D1 Invitational by The Underground at 148 (+4), carding rounds of 72 (E) and 76 (+4).
