Men's Day Two Pairings     Men's Day One Results 

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Arkansas-Pine Bluff leads the field following the opening round of the 2026 SWAC Men’s Golf Championship, held Monday at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley (Ridge Course).
 
Arkansas-Pine Bluff posted a team score of 287 (-1) to take the early lead after 18 holes. Florida A&M sits in second place at 292 (+4), while Alabama A&M is in third with a score of 295 (+7). Alabama State (300, +12) and Texas Southern (301, +13) round out the top five. Jackson State (303, +15), Prairie View A&M (305, +17), and Southern (310, +22) complete the team standings after the first round.
 
Individually, Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Jonathon Baumann holds the top position after carding a 69 (-3). Alabama A&M’s Samuel Boddie and Texas Southern’s Yashal Shah are tied for second after each posted a 70 (-2).
 
A tie for fourth place at 71 (-1) includes Florida A&M’s Phalaphon Viboonrivasakul and Alabama A&M’s Vicente Rodriguez. Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Timur Alin is sixth with an even-par 72, while multiple players from Jackson State, Alabama State, and Florida A&M are part of a group tied at even par through the opening round.
 
Several additional players remain within striking distance, with scores clustered in the mid-70s heading into the next round of competition.
 
The championship continues with round two scheduled for tomorrow beginning at 7:30 am CST.
