SWAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards: Feb. 4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State’s Aliyah Willams and Daedrian Beville for SWAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards. 
 
Track

Williams set a personal record in the women's 800 with a 2:07.03 at the Bob Polluck Invite.
 
Field/Newcomer
Beville set a new school record in the women's triple jump with a 15.63m leap at the Bob Polluck invite.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Tennis.
