BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern’s Alyvia Brown along with Alabama State’s Kennedi McCord and Tarrianna Jackson for SWAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards.
Track
Brown was a key contributor for Texas Southern this past week as she set the new performance mark for the mile (4:54.98).
Field
McCord was a key contributor for Alabama State during this past week of competition in the field events.
Newcomer
Jackson was another key contributor for Alabama State during this past week of competition as ASU competed at the Blazer/Vulcan Invite.
