SWAC Tennis Weekly Honors: Feb. 25

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State’s Kesmat El Tawil, Senna Van Den Heuvel, Eloi Roux and Loris Gueli for SWAC Tennis Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances this past week.

Women’ Player
El Tawil posted a win at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles in ASU's 4-0 win over Alcorn State. The win at No. 2 doubles helped seal the doubles point for Alabama State.
 
Women’s Newcomer
Van Den Heuvel captured wins in doubles action with teammate Kesmat El Tawil and in singles. Her win on court six sealed the Hornets' 4-0 win over Alcorn State.
 
Men’s Player
El Roux teamed with Milan Ristov at No. 3 doubles to help clinch the doubles point at No. 3 and captured a win at No. 4 singles in a 4-0 ASU victory over Alcorn State.
 
Men’s Newcomer
Gueli clinched the win on singles court six for Hornets versus Alcorn State.
