BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern’s Cesley Williams, Jackson State’s Lilliann Dudley and Prairie View A&M’s Michaela Booker for SWAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances this past week of competition.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Williams was a standout contributor for Texas Southern as she put up one of the top finishes in the league in the 200m.
Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Dudley placed second in shot put with a heave of 14.46 meters and seventh in hammer throw with a distance of 49.42 meters.
Women’s Newcomer of the Week
Booker had multiple top eight finishes at the SMU Invitational this past week.
