BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Prairie View A&M’s Savoria Anderson along with Jackson State’s Amara Hawkins-Quinones and Stephy Venuti for SWAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances this past week of competition.
Field
Anderson secured 7th place in the triple jump, impressing the field with a leap of 12.35 meters.
Track
Hawkins-Quinones won the 800-meter race with a time of 2:17.16.
Newcomer
Venuti recorded a personal best in the 800-meter race clocking in at 2:27.78.
