FLOWOOD, Miss.- The 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships are slated to take place this week at the Refuge Golf Course beginning on Monday (April 18) and running through Wednesday (April 20).

The tournament shall be determined based on fifty-four (54) holes, unless weather interrupts the schedule, in which case thirty-six (36) holes shall constitute the minimum number of holes determining a champion.

Should the final round be started but cannot be completed by all teams, the scores following 36 holes shall be used to determine the champion. The tournament begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning.

On the women’s side, Alabama State will look to defend its crown that it has held for three consecutive seasons (2018-21). On the men’s side Prairie View A&M also looks to defend its crown (2018-21) after claiming the past three championship titles.
