BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Texas Southern’s Jade McQueen and Melonie Guardiola for SWAC Softball Weekly Awards. 
 
Hitter/Newcomer
McQueen helped lead Texas Southern during this past week of competition on non-conference play. She contributed both offensively and defensively as TSU picked up three wins. 
 
Pitcher
Guardiola was impressive inside the circle for Texas Southern during this past week of competition. She picked up a non-conference win over St. Bonaventure as Texas Southern claimed a 9-1 victory.
