BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Several student-athletes from the Southwestern Athletic Conference punched their tickets to the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
With the first round of the 2025 DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships complete the top 12 competitors from each individual event and the top 12 teams from each relay event advanced from each first round site to the national championship meet.
The 2025 NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships are set for Wednesday, June 11 through Saturday, June 14 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The athletes from regionals will join the combined event athletes (heptathlon and decathlon) that were already accepted into the championship meet.
The final list of the championship competition participants will be announced by 3 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 3.
The student-athletes listed below from the Southwestern Athletic Conference qualified to participate in the championships.
Alabama State
Jamarion Stubbs – 100m and 200m
Anthony Woods II – Triple Jump
Florida A&M
Kirk Dawkins – 800m
Jackson State
Ledamian Rowell – Triple Jump
Southern
Roman Smith – High Jump
Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Jordan Pierre – 400m and 4x100m Relay
4x100m Relay – (Dwight Henry, Jared Sylvester, Jordan Pierre and Ross Walrond)
