BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Prairie View A&M’s Crystal Schultz along with Alabama A&M’s Kalia Walker and Rakiyah Beal for SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards. 
 
Player
Schultz led the Panthers in scoring in both contests, totaling 51 points over the two-game stretch. She opened the week with a season-best 27-point effort at Lamar, shooting 9-of-16 from the field and knocking down 7-of-12 from three-point range in 35 minutes of action. She followed that performance with 24 points at Texas A&M, connecting on 5-of-10 from beyond the arc and going 5-of-6 at the free-throw line while playing all 40 minutes.
 
Impact
Walker was selected the SWAC's Impact Player of the Week after helping the Bulldogs go 1-1 over the week. She averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. She poured in 15 points, four assists, two boards and one steal in a victory over North Alabama.
 
Newcomer 
Beal repeated as the SWAC's Newcomer of the Week, averaging 31.6 minutes. She recorded 12.5 points, 3.5 boards, 2.0 steals and 1.0 assists per game. Beal paced the Bulldogs versus Richmond, scoring 16 points, along with three boards, two steals, one assist and one blocked shot.
