UAPB Names Stout Head Baseball Coach

PINE BLUFF, Ark.- Logan Stout has been named the head baseball coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Vice Chancellor of Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Robinson announced on Wednesday.

Stout is beginning his first season with the Golden Lions, bringing a wealth of experience from the baseball world. With his strong work ethic, he aims to build the program into a powerhouse and help student-athletes become better leaders, both on and off the field.

Stout is an accomplished Entrepreneur, Keynote Speaker, Best-Selling Author and Founder of the Dallas Patriots.  Stout has over 2500 wins as a head coach and 27 World Series/National Titles ranging from Perfect Game to USA Baseball National Championships and many others.  Stout has had over 200 MLB draft picks and thousands of college players matriculate through his program. 

Some notable alum currently in the Major Leagues include Josh Bell, Trevor Story, AJ Minter, and many others.  Stout was a keynote speaker for the 2024 ABCA conference and coached the Future Stars team at Globe Life field. 
 
Stout was a college All-American and conference player of the year both as a shortstop and as a pitcher.  In his second year of pro ball, Stout suffered a career-ending injury which led him into coaching and scouting.  Stout coached at Dallas Baptist University and has served as an Associate Scout in Major League Baseball for over 21 years.  
 
Off the field, Stout has started multiple companies that have generated over $3.5 Billion of revenue.  In addition, Stout has been featured on TV, Magazines, Podcasts and more, and has been regarded as one of the top Keynote Speakers in the world by Entrepreneur Magazine. 

His latest book, Grit Factor has been endorsed by the Sharks from Shark Tank, John Maxwell, and many others.  Stout has recently been featured as an investor on the Show Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch alongside the founder of Netflix, Marc Randolph and others.
