2026 HBCU Swingman Classic Rosters Announced
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference will once again be prominently represented on the national stage as 38 student-athletes from conference member institutions have been selected to participate in the 2026 HBCU Swingman Classic presented by USA Baseball.
The annual event, created by Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. in partnership with Major League Baseball and USA Baseball, showcases many of the top HBCU baseball student-athletes from across the country.
The conference's 38 representatives include players from all 12 SWAC baseball programs, highlighted by Alabama State, Bethune-Cookman, Jackson State and Southern, each placing five student-athletes on the roster.
The following SWAC student-athletes were selected to participate in the 2026 HBCU Swingman Classic:

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis.
