JSU’s Clark and FAMU’s Grissom Selected for 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame Class

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference proudly recognizes former Jackson State standout Dave Clark and former Florida A&M star Marquis Grissom following their selection to the 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame Class, as announced by the College Baseball Foundation.

Clark, who starred as an outfielder at Jackson State from 1981-83, and Grissom, who excelled as an outfielder and pitcher at Florida A&M from 1987-88, are among 16 former players selected for induction as part of the 19th College Baseball Hall of Fame class.

Clark enjoyed a distinguished collegiate career before advancing to the professional ranks, while Grissom went on to become one of the most accomplished players in Major League Baseball history, earning four Gold Glove Awards and appearing in two MLB All-Star Games.

The 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame Class will be formally honored during the Night of Champions on February 11, 2027, in Overland Park, Kansas.

The College Baseball Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose accomplishments have significantly impacted the sport and helped shape the rich history of college baseball. Clark and Grissom become the latest HBCU representatives to receive one of the game’s highest honors.
