Jackson State Volleyball Competes at 2024 NIVC Versus Stephen F. Austin

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Jackson State volleyball team lost to the SFA Ladyjacks in straight sets (18-25, 12-25, 14-25) Thursday on the road at Shelton Gym in the first round of the 2024 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC).

Jayden James finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Tigers offense. JSU got eight digs from Alexis Williams along with five blocks from Jordan Jones to lead them defensively.

  • Jackson State trailed by as many as 13 points as SFA grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was tied up just once before the Ladyjacks took over the lead.
