AUSTIN, Texas- On the final night of the Alabama State Men's Outdoor Track and Field 2023 season the 4x100m relay team consisting of

Matthew Clarke,
Justus Trainer,
Jamarion Stubbs, alt
Kendrick Winfield took home fifth place making them All-Americans at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships.
The Hornets competed in the 4x100m Relay where they took home fifth place overall with a time of 38.79 helping put the program on a national stage.
It was the first relay team in ASU history to complete on the national level making them the third overall Hornets to advance to the finals. The ASU relay team is also ranked with the 16th fastest time in collegiate history running a 39.52 at the NCAA Regional last week in Jacksonville, Fla.
An historic season comes to a close for the Alabama State University Men's Track and Field Program that also saw the Hornets also claim the 2023 SWAC Outdoor Track and Field title.
