BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama A&M’s Jared Tribett and Jose Figueroa for SWAC Baseball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during this past week of play.

Hitter of the Week
Tribett went 1-for-3 and added a run to help secure a 8-5 victory for the Bulldogs on Friday. He went 2-for-5 and delivered a home run, two RBIs and two runs in game two of the series. Tribett would save his best for last as he went 3-for-5 with a home run and seven RBIs to lead AAMU to a 15-9 win over JSU to close out the three-game series.

Pitcher of the Week
Figueroa threw seven innings, only allowing one earned run while striking out seven batters to help the Bulldogs defeat Jackson State 8-3 on Friday in the first outing of a three-game series.
