Prairie View A&M's Jackson named to STATS FCS All-America team

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The honors just keep coming for Prairie View A&M senior linebacker Storey Jackson, who was named to the STATS FCS All-America Second Team following an exceptional campaign during the Spring 2021 season.

The rangy defender dominated throughout the Panthers' spring slate, racking up 50 total stops along with 8.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and recoveries and an interception. Jackson led the nation in tackles per game at 16.7 and also ranked second nationally in tackles for loss per game at 2.8, earning a place as one of 18 finalists for the Buck Buchanan Award, which goes to the nation's most outstanding defensive player in FCS.

This is the second All-America distinction for Jackson, who earned a place on the BOXTOROW HBCU All-America team just days ago after being named a First Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference performer.
