JACKSON, Miss.- The Jackson State Tigers have earned the right to host the 2025 SWAC Football Championship game after defeating the Alcorn State Braves on Saturday.

JSU clinched its second consecutive Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) East Division title with the win.

Prairie View A&M clinched its title game berth with a win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 15.

It will mark the Panthers third appearance in the SWAC Football Championship game in the past five years. Prairie View A&M’s last conference title was in 2009.

Jackson State will look to repeat as conference champions and claim its fourth league title in the past five seasons with a win.

Prairie View A&M will travel to face Jackson State on Saturday, Dec. 6. at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The game is set to be broadcast live on ESPN2 at 1:00 pm CST.

Game tickets are slated to go on sale on Monday, Nov. 24 at 9:00 am CST.
