The 2019 Southwestern Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships will be held at City Park Pepsi Tennis Center in New Orleans, La. and will take place Friday, April 12 – Sunday, April 14.

The City Park center features 16 hard courts and 10 clay courts and a clubhouse with a pro shop, restrooms, showers and meeting room. The facility is located on Marconi Boulevard between Interstate 610 and Harrison Avenue.

Alabama State's men's and women's tennis teams enter the tournament field in search of three-peats, as both teams successfully defended their championships. The Hornet men defeated No. 5 Jackson State 4-0 to claim their third title in four years under head coach Anuk Christianz.  On the women's side of the bracket, the No. 1 seeded Lady Hornets bested No. 5 Alcorn State 4-0 to win the fourth title in program history.
