SWAC Women's Basketball Weekly Awards: Mar. 3

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Grambling State’s Alisha Murray and Jackson State’s Jaileyah Cotton for SWAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards. 
 
Player/Newcomer

Murray turned in an efficient and impactful week for Grambling State as she averaged 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting an impressive 65.0 percent (13-of-20) from the field.
 
Impact
Cotton was a key contributor for Jackson State this past week averaging 15.5 points per game. She also was credited with 7.0 rebounds per game while also assisting on the defensively.
