BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Jenna Knight, Alabama State’s and Texas Southern’s Zaniya McClain for SWAC Women’s Bowling Weekly Awards. 
 
Bowler
Knight was a key contributor for Alabama State this past weekend as she led all bowlers in total pinfall average. 
 
Newcomer 
McClain was a key contributor for Texas Southern during this past week of competition as she led all freshman bowlers in total pinfall average.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Tennis.
