SWAC Soccer Weekly Awards: Nov. 4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Grambling State’s Olivia Kowall, Jackson State’s Sarah Portis and Prairie View A&M’s Nenah Jackson its Soccer Players of the Week for their outstanding performances this past week.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Kowall scored two goals for Grambling State during this past week of competition. 
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Portis led Jackson State's backline to a shutout victory during this past week of competition. 
 
Goalkeeper/Newcomer of the Week
Jackson played a solid game while securing her third shutout in a row this season. She faced eight shots on goal while not surrendering any goals during PVAMU's win over Texas Southern.
