BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced its 2024-25 SWAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll members and All-Academic Achievement Award honors.
 
The SWAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.

Alabama State (74 percent) claimed the All-Academic Achievement Award which is presented annually to the athletic program that has the highest percentage of student-athletes that earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better during the academic year. Arkansas Pine-Bluff (71 percent) finished second, while Alcorn State (65 percent) finished in third place overall.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis.

Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball.
