BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama State’s Gonzalo Moreno for SWAC Men’s Golf Weekly Honors for his outstanding performance during this past week of competition.
 
Golfer
Moreno shot a two-under 70 to win low medalist and help Alabama State win the Hornet Puetro Rico Invitational at the Grand Reserve Golf Club last week. He shot a 2-over (74) and a 3-over (75) to hold the lead after 36 holes before his 2-under (70) to win the tournament by two strokes.
