MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Jackson State Tigers defeated the Alabama State Hornets 16-10 on Saturday to claim the 2024 SWAC Football East Division Title.
Jackson State’s Jacobian Morgan led the Tiger’s passing attack completing eight pass attempts for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively Jackson held Alabama State to four passing yards and 188 total offensive yards. Jackson State led the time of possession and also forced two Hornets turnovers.
The Tigers will now prepare to face the Alcorn State Braves in the regular season finale for both teams.
