BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The 2023 Southwestern Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships are set to begin at 8:00 am CST on Monday, October 23 at Apalachee Regional Park located in Tallahassee, Florida.

The women’s 5k event will start at 8:00 am followed by the men’s event at 9:00 am.

One the women’s side Bethune-Cookman will look to repeat as league champions. On the men’s side Jackson State will look to claim the title for the third consecutive season.

Both events are scheduled to be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network.

Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, and Tennis.

Women’s competition is offered in the sports of Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Volleyball.
