TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman men's cross country team made history on Monday as the team claimed the 2025 SWAC Men’s Cross Country Championship title at Apalachee Regional Park. It marked the programs’ first Men’s Cross Country title in school history since joining the league.
Bethune-Cookman’s Andrew Kiplagat won the individual men’s title finishing the race with a time of 24:48.7. Individually Jackson State's Godfrey Kimutai and Bethune-Cookman's Victor Kibet finished in second and third place respectively in the final individual rankings for the event.
Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M finished in second and third place respectively in the final team standings for the event.
