Quinn currently serves as the Director of Championships for the Southwestern Athletic Conference. She was appointed to this role in July 2017 after completing a year as the Interim Director of Championships.
A native of Aberdeen, Miss., Quinn is responsible for planning and conducting conference sporting events, which includes all 18 SWAC Championships. In addition to Championship events, she oversees the planning and development of the SWAC’s annual Hall of Fame event.
Quinn started with the Conference office in August 2014 as a Communications Intern. After serving in this role for only 10 months, she was promoted to Sport Management Administrator.
Her background as a student-athlete in the SWAC strengthened her passion for the organization, aiding in her decision to accept the position. Quinn played four years of Alabama State University basketball, earning the Most Coachable Player award her senior year. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
She was recently selected as one of the recipients for the 2023 Trailblazer Awards from the Freedom Trailblazer Conference held in Memphis, TN. This Conference recognized and honored black women of excellence in business and community activism.
Bringing experience from the media relations side, Quinn worked for WSFA 12 News and WVAS Radio Station, where she played a large role in sports broadcasting and filming.
She earned her master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Sport Management where she worked as a Sport Technology graduate assistant and interned with the Lady Eagles' basketball program.
