As Grambling State looks to finish regular season play strong and prepare to defend their title, Dore-Anderson adds her third weekly award of the season.

SWAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Queenster Mensah, Alabama State
The Sophomore Midfielder from Old Akrade, Ghana anchored the defensive line of the Alabama State women's soccer team in the team's 0-0 game against Jackson State. Her performance featured strong defensive play in the midfield, where she broke up several tackles and turned the ball back over to the Hornets on numerous occasions. Down the stretch in the final 45 minutes, the Ghanaian midfielder was able to win first and second balls for the team and was almost always in the middle of the action, including in the teams' last efforts at the Tigers' end of the pitch. As Alabama State prepares for a postseason push, Mensah earns her first weekly award of the season.

SWAC Women’s Soccer Newcomer of the Week: Leyla Llanos Boursiquot, Alcorn State
The Sophomore from Pierrefonds, Quebec, Canada helped the Lady Braves take the win over Prairie View A&M on October 30, 2026, adding an assist on the goal scored by Grace Ambrose at the 17th minute. Boursiquot has played and started in all 15 matches for Alcorn State in her first season while contributing a goal and two assists, totaling to four points. As Leyla Llanos Boursiquot looks to help Alcorn State pursue championship aspirations in Texas in a couple of weeks, she adds her second weekly award of the season.

SWAC Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week: Deetya Satyal, Alabama State
The Senior Keeper from Kathmandu, Nepal goes back-to-back with the award, adding another shutout in goal during SWAC play as the Lady Hornets drew with Jackson State on Sunday, November 1st. Her six-save performance was certainly one of the many key efforts that kept the sheet clean for the ASU side. The Tigers, who mercilessly attacked the goal throughout the game, increased their intensity as the game went on, and even as many opposing attempts were tried in the final few minutes, the senior transfer from Wheeling University (W. Va.) locked things down to secure her third straight shutout and second consecutive draw of the season. Satyal will look to finish the season on a high note and bring her efforts to the Lone Star State for Tournament Play with her second weekly award of the season.
