NEW ORLEANS, La.- The Florida A&M Rattlers defeated the Jackson State Lady Tigers 4-2 on Sunday at the 2025 SWAC Women’s Tennis Tournament.

The win by Florida A&M marked the Rattlers' second league tournament title in the past three seasons.

FAMU has claimed a regular season or postseason title for three consecutive seasons.

Florida A&M’s Sara Rakim was named the 2025 SWAC Women’s Tennis Tournament Most Valuable Player after helping lead her team to a championship title.

Rakim was joined on the All-Tournament team by teammates Reagan Harris and Genesis Whitlock.
