NEW ORLEANS, La.- The Alabama State Hornets defeated the Jackson State Tigers 4-0 on Sunday at the 2025 SWAC Men’s Tennis Tournament.

The win by Alabama State marked the Hornets’ fourth consecutive tournament title.

Alabama State’s David J. Grandinot was named the 2025 SWAC Men’s Tennis Tournament Most Valuable Player after impressive performances throughout the duration of the tournament.

Grandinot was joined on the All-Tournament team by teammates Alexandre Verlaguet and Lun Obrul.
