SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Feb. 11

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Grambling State’s Kintavious Dozier along with Bethune-Cookman’s Trey Thomas and Jesus Carralero Martin its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week.

Dozier contributed a league leading 23.5 points per game this past weekend for Grambling State as the Tigers claimed road wins over Alabama State and Alabama A&M.  

Thomas was the driving force of straight wins in a road trip sweep over Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern. He posted a combined 45 points with five assists, 14 rebounds, and a steal.

Carralero Martin tallied 22 points on an efficient 7-11 shooting with 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, including a career-high seven at Texas Southern along with four blocks, and three steals.
