BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Alabama A&M’s Kintavious Dozier, Alabama State’s Asjon Anderson and Mississippi Valley State’s Michael James for SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Awards.
Player
Dozier paced the Bulldogs offense in games against Clemson and Coastal Carolina. He averaged 14.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game and shot 12-of-24 (50.0 percent) from the floor.
Impact
Anderson had a impressive performance for Alabama State during the Hornets non-conference outing versus New Mexico tallying a game high 30 points.
Newcomer
James was 10-of-15 in field goal attempts enroute to a game-high 32 points for Mississippi Valley State in 33 minutes of play.
