BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Quion Williams and Milhan Charles along with Jackson State’s Daeshun Ruffin for SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Awards.
Player
Williams was a key contributor for Arkansas-Pine Bluff averaging a team leading 21.5 points per game during the two non-conference outings versus UIC and De Paul during this past week of competition.
Impact
Ruffin finished with 28 points on the night, with 14 of those coming in the first half, for the Tigers against Kennesaw State during this past week of competition.
Newcomer
Charles was an all-around performer for Arkansas-Pine Bluff averaging 13.5 points per game to go along with 9.0 rebounds per game during the two non-conference outings versus UIC and De Paul during this past week of competition.
