BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Football Postseason Individual Award winners on Tuesday. The individual awards were voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
Alabama State’s Andrew Body was named Offensive Player of the Year, while Jackson State’s Quincy Ivory was named Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
Jackson State's Jared Lockhart and Prairie View A&M's Chase Bingmon were both named Co-Freshman of the Year.
Prairie View A&M’s Tremaine Jackson was named Coach of the Year rounding out the list of SWAC Football individual award winners.
In order to be considered for postseason individual awards a student-athlete must have participated in a minimum of 50 percent of team games played this season.
