SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Mar. 5

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Texas Southern’s Jonathan Cisse and Bethune-Cookman’s Dhashon Dyson its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week. 
 
Player  
Cisse had an impressive scoring weekend averaging 26.5 points per game during Texas Southern contest against Jackson State and Alcorn State. He shot 56 percent from the field and 58 percent from three-point range.

Impact 
Dyson played solid in a pair of games this weekend, scoring 38 points with 12 rebounds, and assist, and three steals as the Wildcats split the weekend with top SWAC foes in Southern and Grambling State.
