BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Prairie View A&M’s Charles Smith IV and Tra’Michael Molton its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week.

Smith led Prairie View A&M in scoring during games against Texas Southern and Arkansas-Pine Bluff this past week of competition. He averaged 23.0 ppg for the week during the two outings. Smith was 7-for-9 from the floor against Texas Southern highlighted by a 4-of-5 showing from beyond the arc.
Impact
Molton helped guide Grambling State to a pair of victories over Jackson State and Alcorn State this past week of competition. He scored a game-high 19 points with four rebounds and two assists to secure the Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic MVP Award as GSU defeated JSU 70-62.
