SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors: Feb. 27

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Florida A&M’s Keith Lamar and Bethune-Cookman’s Zion Harmon its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week. 
Lamar had a dominating scoring weekend, averaging 25.5 points per game in the wins versus Alabama State and Alabama A&M. He led the Rattlers in both games, scoring 22 points versus Alabama State and 29 points versus Alabama A&M. Lamar was highly efficient from the 3-point line, shooting 9-of-14 overall.

Harmon was stellar in a pair of crucial SWAC wins this week over Alabama A&M and Alabama State. Over two games, he posted 35 points on 12-of-30 shooting, as well as a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line. He added six rebounds, 10 assists, and a pair of steals.
