SWAC Football Weekly Honors: Nov. 4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Southern’s Czavian Teasett, Alabama State’s Rico Dozier, Texas Southern’s Chaunzavia Lewis and Florida A&M’s Daniel Richardson for SWAC Football Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during this past week of regular season competition.
 
Offensive
Teasett threw for a conference-high 294 yards versus Alabama A&M on Saturday as he completed passes to nine different receivers to go along with three touchdown passes on the day. He also added 59 rushing yards off six carries. 

Defensive
Dozier recorded 19 tackles, highlighted by 12 solo stops during a 21-17 win over Alcorn State on Saturday. He also posted two of ASU's six sacks with a quarterback hurry. 
 
Specialist
Lewis was spectacular for the Tigers special teams’ unit this past Saturday versus Florida A&M. He recorded six returns for 230 yards including a 90-yard touchdown return. 
 
Newcomer
Richardson orchestrated the Rattlers' high-powered offense, throwing for 267 yards and five touchdowns. He completed an impressive 75.8% of his passes (25-for-33), connecting with multiple targets.
