BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Rashad Williams and Kylen Milton along Mississippi Valley State’s Rayquan Brown its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week.

Williams led UAPB with 27 points and 22 points during UAPB wins over Florida A&M and Bethune Cookman, respectively. He connected on 6-of-9 three-point attempts against FAMU before converting 6-of-12 three pointers against Bethune Cookman. In large part due to his efforts Arkansas-Pine Bluff has won three straight games in league play.

Brown averaged 24.5 points this past week during Mississippi Valley State games versus Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M. He shot 50 percent from the field and also was effective from three-point range shooting 41 percent.

Milton posted 17 points, to go along with a team-high seven rebounds, five assists, and a block during UAPB’s win over the Florida A&M Rattlers. He followed that outing with 19 points, along with a game-high eight rebounds, and six assists during Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s win over the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats.
