SWAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors: Dec. 12

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Grambling State’s Kintavious Dozier and Bethune-Cookman’s Jakobi Heady its SWAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week.

Player 
Dozier scored a career-high 34 points in Grambling State's game versus Washington State. He went 10-of-16 (62.5%) from the floor, 4-of-9 from 3-point range and 10-of-11 on free throws. He also grabbed two rebounds, an assist and a steal. 

Impact
Heady was the catalyst for the Wildcats' dominant win over South Carolina State. He put up 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting and was able to hit three of his five three-point attempts. Heady was also the Wildcats' leading rebounder with eight, while also collecting two assists, a steal, and a block.
