Tournament Bracket

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced its 2022 SWAC Women’s Tennis Tournament seedings featuring the league’s top six teams at the conclusion of regular season play.
 
2022 SWAC Regular Season Champion Jackson State enters the tournament as the #1 seed (9-0 SWAC) after completing an undefeated slate in league action.
 
Alabama State claimed the #2 seed (8-1 SWAC), while Prairie View A&M claimed the #3 seed (7-2 SWAC) in the tournament followed by #4 seed Alabama A&M (5-4 SWAC).
 
Alcorn State is the #5 seed (5-4 SWAC) followed by #6 seed Florida A&M (5-4 SWAC).
  
In the event of a tie in conference records the league’s tiebreaker policy was used to determine final seedings.
 
The 2022 SWAC Women’s Tennis Tournament is scheduled to be played on April 22-24 at the Pepsi Center in New Orleans, La.
