BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The 2022 Cricket SWAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments presented by Mountain Dew will feature a new look as the Southwestern Athletic Conference is slated to unveil a new court for the four-day tournament.
 
The new playing surface was specifically designed for the annual event. The court will highlight all twelve of the league’s member institution logos, along with league corporate sponsors.
 
The 2022 Cricket SWAC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments presented by Mountain Dew will be held at the Bartow Arena located in Downtown Birmingham, Mar 9-12.

About the SWAC
The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams.
 
Current championship competition offered by the league includes competition for men in Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Indoor Track and Field, Outdoor Track and Field and Tennis.
