BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- All eight Women’s Bowling teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference competed this weekend at the 2022 SWAC East Round-Up in D’Iberville, Miss. 

Prairie View A&M claimed the 2022 SWAC Bowling Regular Season Championship with a 24-4 overall record in regular season competition.

Alabama State finshed in second place with a 19-9 overall record in league play. Southern (17-11), Texas Southern (15-13), and Jackson State (14-14) rounded out the top five team rankings.  

SWAC East Round-Up play started on Friday morning with five traditional matches and resumed on Saturday with the same schedule. The final day of the tournament featured four matches.
